I don’t switch gamer drivers often but I couldn’t help changing this time. With the proper setting for my swing, my accuracy is as good as always. I’m really enjoying swinging the Amp Cell and I’m crushing it. Needless to say my opponents are envious. My driving average this year is easily 25-30 longer and sometimes when I really catch it I’m 50 yards ahead of last year. I’m hitting approaches from places I haven’t seen in several seasons and reaching the par-5’s in two much easier and with long-to-mid irons instead of woods or hybrids. In the past couple of weeks I’ve hit the longest drives in years on several of my home holes. That’s the setting I’ve kept in the bag since then.ĭistance is awesome with this club. Long and high drives with a small draw which ran when they landed. I’m normally a low trajectory player and when I got to the 10.5 draw setting the launch angle and distance was fantastic.
Most of the settings I was able to hit fairly well except the 8.5. I tried all the settings from 8.5°, which looks intimidating at address, to 11.5. I almost didn’t mess around with the adjustability because I hit it so well, but I did try the different settings.
I killed it right out of the box with the stock setting which in this case was 9.5° with a draw. I spent quite a while on the range the first day I tried out the Amp Cell.
